Wine Review "Columbia Crest"
Region: Columbia Valley
Producer: Columbia Crest
Type: Merlot – Cabernet
Vintage: 2003
Taste:
Fruit first with spice to follow a clean leaning toward blackberry and cherry fruit flavors. The spice pursue balanced with vanilla and pepper slumber. Open spices that are pleasant and enjoying.
Form and Whiff:
A delicate color light and crisp with slow disappearance of color. Hints of spice and cumber fruit aroma are the distinguishing factors from the wines aroma.
Overall Performance:
1 out of 10 – Not even a wine I would recommend to wash dishes with! Granted this is a cheaper wine it still had little spunk – maybe just my mood! Anyway the overall performance was sub par and for the age it did little to trill me.
